Where we work

Privacy policy

Last updated 5 October 2026. This website is run by PLACEHOLDER_ENTITY (ABN PLACEHOLDER_ABN), trading as Bendigo Lawn & Garden.

What we collect

When you send us an enquiry through the quote form we collect:

  • your name and phone number;
  • your email address, only if you give it (it's required only when you ask us to reply by email);
  • the suburb the job is in, the service you picked, and your description of the job;
  • any photos you choose to attach (they are resized in your browser before they're sent);
  • your preferred times and how you'd like us to reply (text, call or email);
  • any options you picked in a price estimator;
  • the page you first landed on, the page you sent the form from, the website that referred you, and any advertising campaign tags in the link you followed (for example utm_source or gclid).

Visit counting, without cookies

This site does not use cookies and does not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers. To count visits and see which pages lead to enquiries, each page you view sends us: the page address, a random identifier that lives only in your browser tab's session storage (it's gone when you close the tab), the referring website's name, and any campaign tags. We do not store your IP address or your browser's user-agent with these counts.

How we use it

We use your details only to respond to your enquiry, quote and carry out the job, keep records of the work, and understand which of our pages and services people are interested in. We don't sell or share your information with anyone for their marketing.

We only contact you about your enquiry or job. We won't add you to a mailing list or send you marketing messages. Any text or email we send identifies Bendigo Lawn & Garden and relates to your enquiry.

Where it's stored

Enquiries are stored in a private database and private file storage run on Cloudflare's infrastructure, which may store data on servers outside Australia. Access is limited to the two owners of the business through a password-protected app. Photos are never public.

How long we keep it

  • Photos are deleted 12 months after the job (or enquiry) is closed.
  • If an enquiry doesn't go ahead, the personal details on it (name, phone, email, description) are blanked after 24 months. We keep only anonymous counts, such as how many enquiries a service received.
  • Records of completed jobs are kept as long as we need them for tax and business records.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you. To do that, send us a message through the form on our contact page and choose “how should we reply”. If you're not happy with how we've handled your information, please tell us first; you can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Bendigo Lawn & Garden is operated by PLACEHOLDER_ENTITY, ABN PLACEHOLDER_ABN. We are a service-area business without a public street address.
